A typical trackday starts at 8am with a drivers briefing, consisting of an overview of the rules of that particular circuit and different safety regulations.
On track driving starts around 9am, Driving will start at a slow to medium pace so that all aspects of the circuit are covered and to give David a chance to assess your driving style. From that point you will be driving for most of the day until the end of the trackday, usually around 5pm.
David will be with you and you only for the whole day giving tips and advice, showing different techniques that are required to help you drive around the circuit at high speeds in a controlled manner.
You will be driving in 15-20 minute sessions throughout the day and also be having 15-20 minute breaks in between. In these breaks David will be able to also show you computer generated data that has been down loaded from our in-car data logging system, showing speeds, braking points and if necassary to show you on-board camera footage.
What car should i use on a trackday? Nearly every road going car is suitable for a trackday as long as oil levels, tyres and general safety of the car are in excellent condition.
